redbull flightlab

less rain keeps pushing it higher and higher. True visionaries that are not afraid to use new stuff (this time papervision 3d) but instead are looking for it to put it to use in major scale projects and clients. And they always pull it through. Designing and flying your own 3d model in flash? WTF? It makes me feel small and useless.
Again well done guys.

When enough is enough...

Inevitably in every designer’s career there comes a point where you no longer feel that a client is a fit with your business. If you have never had to fire a client, there is sure to be a time when you will. This is unfortunately just a part of doing business that is pretty much...

design walk 2008

The 2008 design walk (the second year in the installment) has come and gone. This year the focus (in my eyes at least) was more on projects for the events rather than presenting the offices (and in some cases last year the work) of the teams. I am not sure if it should be just the one or the other. I think a blend of both would be ideal especially if the studio projects were supported by some work in progress. The you would be a useful thing for everyone. Students and young creatives would learn, clients would get accustomed with the process and professional would be able to discuss and collaborate.
Overall a good event bringing attention to the Greek design scenes that needs it. Kudos to the organizers
