the always well designed family of products has a new member. Korres made a name for natural health and beauty care products that was mainly distribute to the limited market of pharmacies. For quite a while now Korres is expanding, opening own stores all over the world, form NY to Glasgow and China. But to my knowledge this is the first mass market product and these is some very nice packaging

Samsung TL320

Although i am a fun of sony, especially when it comes to digital cameras, this one i like. I think the detail is what i like most like the analogue battery and power indicators as well as the capability to record HD video and the 3 inch screen.

The Samsung TL320 has just annouced today. The Samsung TL320($380; May 2009) is a 12 megapixel with a 5x optical zoom and 24mm ultra wide lens, breaks ground by featuring the world's first 3.0-inch VGA AMOLED screen. Others featuring includes 720p HD video recording, HDMI output, dual image stabilization and dual analog gauges to show memory capacity and battery life. It will go on sale in May 2009.

Two (barely) new project update

Hi all. I am trying to catch up on some long overdue portfolio update and i decided that instead of waiting to do it all at once i rather do it in bits. So here are two of my favorite projects for the 2008. These are the two major festival of the city of Chalandri, my home town, for the summer of 2008. The first one is organized by the local authorities and the second one by the Aetopoulio (the cultural center of Chalandri). Please let me know what you think.

new site for digit london

the new site for human interaction design studio Digit London is online. Its minimal and with the current trend of full screen video (although the stop motion, short of, animation is a good touch). I like the use of the back background pattern and the clear and unsubmenued menu. The project section is a bit poor (come on people 12 projects is all you got) to the point that someone will think it's a bit elitist. Make sure you check out the contact map, the satellite version (a dream of green all around).

Shameless and probably not very smart copycat

i have been reading wired for a while now and about 2 years ago i became a proud subscriber. Due to some mesh-up in the delivery (wired said it was a local mess-up and it's not hard to believe) i was left behind in my reading. So the latest issue is still in it's plastic back.
I staying at a building with more that one apartments and all the mail is (due to the laziness of the postman) outside the mailboxes so everyone can see everybody's mail. So this morning i was surprised to see (at a glimpse i admit) what i though was the latest issue of wired i had already received. I was even more surprised to see that it wasn't wired but the latest newsletter magazine of the biggest national telecommunication provider in Greece (public up to recently)
This is beyond shameless cause its not just the fact that it is identical it is that the original wired issue is probably, not to all, still on the stands for anyone to see. And by anyone i mean both the client and its clients.
This is going to get embarrassing for someone i hope, not because i am mean but because it gives a bad name to the rest of us.
